Maybe the Administration will stop being such 'concensus makers' when they start to realize that all members of the GOP, from so-called moderates to hard right wing ideologues are simply out to undermine the President. Acting like they are suddenly 'concerned' about advice being given to the President while all the while standing by silently during the Bush administration as Bush-Cheney entered war after war and ran legislation & meetings behind closed doors to the benefit of govt contracts, oil, telecom, insurance industries, pharma, etc.
I keep hearing that Sen Collins might be a possible help to the administration on healthcare but when you see this kind of partisan 'concern' suddenly pop up from folks who had no concern whatsoever about advisors or czars in Republican years, you know exactly what is going on.
Sen Collins - where was your concern for the last 8 years on these issues of transparency?
(crickets chirping)
That's what I thought.
