Chris Matthews read a quote from a statement released from Grayson's office that said something like:

" ... I was referring to her profession, not her personal life..."

Chris chuckled ... I can't find a clip of that yet on YouTube.

"The attack was on her professional career, not her personal life," Grayson spokesman Todd Jurkowski wrote in an e-mail. "The second definition of ‘whore’ in the American Heritage Dictionary is 'A person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain. I think a reasonable person could believe that a person who was paid to promote and defend Enron has 'compromised principles for personal gain."

He should NEVER have apologized. The comment obviously had nothing to do with the whore's gender. A whore is a whore is a whore. Sexist? I doubt it. Honest - oh definitely. Whether the person was male or female what happens on K Street is most definitely prostitution. Calling it for what it is should be applauded - not attacked.

This is just an attack on a person who has the balls to stand up to the conventional wisdom. That includes all the entrenched Democrats. God forbid we shake up the club of congresspersons and senators.
