Glenn Beck ratcheted up his rhetoric, from an already high level, against progressives during a rant on his Fox News show today. Looking straight into the camera, and in all apparent seriousness, Beck warned that progressives have been working for years to strip Americans of their individual rights, and that in earlier times they would be called "tyrants" and "slave owners."

And one of the last great Republicans. Thank God that Woodrow Wilson and his folks stole the best part of the Republican party at the time. This was when the good part of the Republican Party split from the bad just as the Democratic Party excised the bad part of the party when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act declaring that "with the the stroke of a pen, I have delivered the South to the Republicans" (not the exact quote, but similar enough). I firmly believe in Progressivism (Progress) and Liberalism (Liberty).

We are the party of the people, all people, we are the party of the true Christians, who believe that we all have a responsibility to all in our society. God told the Jews, "Let there be no poor among you. This was not a promise, but a command.
To hell with these right wing bastards, they are as Anti-American as Osama bin Ladin, as Anti-Christian as Satan, as rational as Charles Manson and as amusing as the cancer ward at the Children's Hospital. The problem is they are real and they are serious and they must be slapped down. The fundamentals of our liberty are being attacked. The big corporations have now taken over our lives, our money, our religions and our Country. Beck, O'Reilly, Limbaugh and all the other right-wing ass bags have been paid their pieces of silver. Let them eat their cake and let them choke on it. Of all that is decent and right with the human race, I urge all to stand up and not take their shit any more. They don't respect our ideals, why should we respect theirs?
