Here are two short videos where Capt. Paul Watson speaks about the Sea Shepherd mission and their new eco-pirate black Earthrace ship. A shot of the ship can be seen in the second part of the video (at 2:33 min.) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mf_KhxeRua4
The Earthrace looks amazing! It really does look like science-fiction come to life! I can't wait to see it in action!

1. As much as I love Paul, sometimes he says too much.
He shouldn't have mentioned that much info about the Earthrace vessel's new hull. The Japanese don't need to know any more than they can garner on their own.

9. That concerns me too but

Watson must feel the information he's given will be negligible. I hope it's the truth. In the end it'll come down to superior strategies and it's going to be dangerous work all the way around.

"JetSki from hell". :scared:

His story of the whale hunt that led him to create his organization, The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, brought tears to my eyes.

I think he is a great hero....

3. Futuristic ship eco-pirate black " Earthrace"
could be something from a Batman movie. Should be fun to see that in action someday soon.

6. The "Earthrace" is bad ass!
I can't wait for the new season of Whale Wars to start! It will be a while though since they will just be getting started 2 months from now.

8. In its very earliest days, Greenpeace, which Watson,
along with co-founder Bob Hunter, created more or less on his kitchen table, was my neighbour. I still have my button from the very first action Greenpeace undertook - opposing the nuclear test at Amchitka, Alaska.

Paul hasn't wavered in almost 40 years. In fact, he might be more committed now.

Can individuals make a difference?

11. Very cool. They're both our champions.

They fight for our very existence. They understand the interconnected nature of our planet.
May they have much success and prosperity! :applause:

What's crazy is, the world treating the oceans like our personal dump site and feeding trough. I believe there's a great need for people like Paul Watson. :)
