13. Everybody should checkout Jupiter while it is still in the sky
even with a cheap toy store telescope you can make out the different colored stripes and see its moons orbiting

breathtaking

in the past year I went up to Griffith for sidewalk astronomy day and got to see Saturn through a homemade telescope, that was beyond words
