Chris Matthews also shows footage of 3 Republican Representatives saying Democrats want to kill old people but nobody has called them out on it.

From http://www.youtube.com/user/RepWassermanSchultz">RepWassermanSchultz' More Info section:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz discusses Rep. Alan Grayson's discussion of the lack of a Republican health care plan on Hardball opposite Rep. Lungren.

Rep. Grayson was simply pointing out that continuing to say no to reform leaves tens of millions of Americans without health insurance, and a recent Harvard University Study shows that 45,000 Americans die every year because of this.

The Republicans unwillingness to work with Democrats on a plan, or to put forward their own plan, or even to have worked at all on this the entire time that they were in control of Congress, and for a large time the Presidency leaves millions of Americans without health insurance and this has the real consequence of real people dying.

3. Matthews gave Grayson's presentation a more balanced
review than the SITUATION ROOM which had Grayson come in. At least Matthews had the guts to show the hypocrasy of the Republican spin machine's attack on Grayson. Central Florida is so lucky to have this man as their Congressman.:fistbump:

9. "A majority of the American People reject their plan...."
Uh...Hello! Almost 80% want reform and 65% want a public option. And these figures include Dems, Indies and Repugs.

What is the Repug hack calmly talking about?

You Lie!

7. This is the best segmen† on the issue and Wasserman Shultz completly missed the point!
Chris did a great job showing the 3 legislators who said THE SAME THING Grayson said and they didn't make them apologize. Yet WS kept taking it back to Joe Wilson's comment for comparison. Bummer. I wonder why she missed Chris's point? He gave her all the ammunition she needed and she walked away.

Don't get it.

8. If they are uninsured
It is often because the cannot AFFORD to be insured. Let me say that once more, because amidst the stupidity of the right wings view of the debate I think that point gets completely lost.

Market solutions and cross state purchasing of insurance (no garauntee that your LOCAL clinic will take that cross state purchsed insurance by the way) and all that absurd and maddening malarky is so much hot air.

People that do not have insurance usually cannot afford to purchase it at all.
