I wouldn't say Australia is that low (32). Certainly not lower that the UK (18). I have experienced both!

The smaller the country the easier it is to take care of everybody.

24. The ranking is a bit outdated

the WHO stopped doing these healthcare rankings back in 2000,
which was the year we placed 37th on the list.

But the healthcare stats in the US have certainly declined since 2000 under Bush, in terms of mortality rate and other key measures, so I bet we're more like 40th in the world by now or worse...behind several 3rd world countries. Go USA!
