1. Point well taken!

He can apologize all he wants. WE can accept his apology or not.....but no matter whether WE, or President Obama, accept his apology is NOT the issue.

What this fellow says is on target. This pathetic excuse of a politician, of a "Southern gentleman" is disgraceful. If he is so overcome with anger that he allows himself to insult the President of this nation by "throwing his shoe" at him, then he needs to crawl into a hole and pull the cover over his disgusting head.

A fool, a hypocrite, an ignorant dumb ass unfit for public service. A disgrace to South Carolina and to this nation. I can think of no one more pathetic in public service....even a close race with michelle bachmann and sarah palin for the bottom of the barrel.

2. Wilson should have watched Obama's speech to

the kids and taken notes on how to behave. I certainly don't accept his apology. I'm sure he'll do it again if he gets a chance.

6. Mothers

Bad manners are pretty much the root of all evil. And for better or for worse, its the mothers who always get the credit or the blame for how their children behave in public. I have two college aged sons, so I know this to be true.

7. What about fathers?

If the mother can be blamed shouldn't the father be blamed as well?
I personally think it is no ones fault but Joe Wilson. I don't think his "emotions" got the best of him. I think he knew when he yelled that out he would instantly become the hero of Fox News and their audience. I think he only apologized after he had time to see what the reaction to what he did was. He is scum. Truthfully I hope him and his repuke buddies keep this up. It is only hurting the GOP.

I know I will never vote for anyone that has an "R" by their name again and this is coming from someone who thought she was "pro-life" and conservative leaning. The cure to my disease of conservatism was knowledge. Thank God I found it in time. I, in all honesty, would rather be dead than be a hateful, racist liar like these people.

Agreed. But as the father of two, I can tell you that it's always the Mother who gets the blame or the credit for their child's behavior. Not fair, but that's the way it is.
