David, you have a wonderful voice actually. What you need to do is to talk to a voice teacher - that's right, a singing teacher - not so much to learn how to sing, but how to breathe. It would also help take nervousness out of your delivery.

Simple things are to stand firmly on the ground. Another is to learn to breathe from your belly and through your back. Some of the Chinese exercise practices also teach these techniques, I think.

I believe that would help you relax a lot. You speak so well, but you don't sound as confident as you might. I think you really are confident, but your voice doesn't serve you as well as it should.

Thanks for the excellent work you do. You are really a great gift to our country.
