This is why even regular people who are not political junkies should never presume that just because somebody is on television to give their opinions it doesn't mean they are smarter or more informed than you are. Or she thinks you can buy into it somehow. I would say she mispoke, but that's such a dumb question to ask I think she just didn't know. And she never tried to say something like: "well if you could..." or "what I mean is" she just kept going. And when he corrected her she seemed flabbergasted that he did, but not about her being wrong, just that she still disagreed with him. It was a weird exchange, illuminating in that it showed how dense she is.
