Ar. 1, Sec. 8 relates to the purposes of Congress, and the powers of Congress, and one of those purposes is to promote the general welfare. It's a specific clause in the Constitution. We need to remind people that government does have a foundational purpose in our lives."

That's the thing about dems...always preaching to the choir. We're all for promoting the general welfare but tell that to a republican whose only concern is his welfare and nobody else's

5. You have to preach to the choir. As you do, the choir gets bigger!

There's nothing wrong with defending yourself if attacked but for the most part you draw others into the movement by refining your thoughts, getting yourself into step with the good that's in all, aligning your thoughts with others of like mind. It works the same way a laser becomes more powerful by putting the light waves in step with one another. You can only do that with like-minded groups. Over time, the groups grow and join with each other to become an unstoppable force.
