A protester at Rep. Brad Miller's "town hall" meeting in Raleigh, NC compares Obama to Hitler and says Democratic reform legislation will make people "55 and older will not be allowed to have hip replacements" and other surgeries. She also echoes erroneous claims that the legislation will allow government "grim reapers" (Sarah Palin's alleged "death panels") will tell the elderly to "take a pill and just die." She also bemoans the fact that she "was accosted by a woman who was Jewish."

1. And he didn't even have a town hall. They just showed up en masse to picket.

They just lined the streets on St. Mary's last Friday and spewed their nonsense. Miller's office actually asked counter protesters to not show up, although a few groups asked if they could--Miller's office didn't want any confrontations, or to be held responsible (however erroneously) for them.

I still think Price having a town hall at Central is just brilliant. Good on them. Wish I could go, damnit.

The Nazis shot, gassed, starved, and worked millions to death. Lots to enrich the Reich and some foreign bankers like Prescott Bush and Averell Harriman. Millions were not gassed according to Pat Buchanan.

Really, I get the impression that this lady would be on the platform waving Auf Wiedersein to the cattle cars of humans if it would cost her one penny more in taxes. :smoke:

14. I like that the filmer was nonconfrontational and just let her go on...

...and the fact that he made her get specific about the claim of thuggery against "us" (the Townhall Hollerers) ("have we had any of that in Raleigh?").

The big question I was waiting for and didn't hear, though, was "where do you get your information", considering how specific she got about what the plan "really" was. (Just going by that clip. Maybe they asked elsewhere on the tape.)
