The President discusses the state of the economy amidst positive signs from the GDP. Making clear that this is little comfort to those struggling, he notes that we appear to have averted an even worse disaster and offers hope for the time ahead. August 1, 2009.

2. When this economic storm passes, how many of our lives will have been
Edited on Sat Aug-01-09 11:04 AM by midnight
completely destroyed? Will we remember this when the storm makers decide to cause chaos again? Let's decide not to allow the storm makers access to our political systems. Law makers tied to "The Family" tells of a hell of a storm created via their mantra of leadership by the iron fist mentality. This group of "trust fund" babies have had generations of experience creating these storms. Let's restore the constitution during this recovery of this economic storm. Many of the mechanisms creating the storm we hope to see pass have been created by an economic institution that does not want to any transparency or law, and they are robbing consumers. How can we see this storm pass with out expecting another one if we don't make these storm makers follow the rules that the rest of us have to follow? President Obama you give a good speech and I like your optimism, but I want the rule of law restored, and these economic hacks out of work.

3. Obama the musical
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

4. How comforting to have a President who
actually cares for the country and its people.

Instead of bush or mccain getting on there and speaking their Orwellian shit.
