3. Birther stupidity

Excellent points in the video, but, I don't think the birther bs is entirely a matter of 'stupidity'.

I think is is clearly a matter of severe mental illness. These loons are delusional fanatics who

cling tenaciously to their delusions because they can't help it ... it's the way they are wired.

You cannot reason with them, or present concrete facts ... they do not care about the facts.

They have the same mindset as the Xtian zealots who suspend rational thought to have, "faith",

in talking snakes, virgin births, parting seas, and all the other nonsense in that wretched book

about the mass murdering boogieman in the clouds. These people are seriously NUTS, and

some of them are dangerous. The only good thing about them and their ilk, the 'base' of the

GOP, is they are isolating and marginalizing that party from the vast majority of people here

in the US who have a brain and use it.
