Please note that Senator Ben Nelson (Nebraska-D) was quick to forbid the amendment via Rulle 16, even though there were already several amendment present that violated rule 16.

Also note, that just after the Amendment was denied on the Appropriations bill, Senator DeMint was connected with "The Family". While I have no clue as to whether DeMint is evil or not, but something smells very fishy here. The Fed has sumpreme control over vast amounts of money. And so does the Military, which is on record to the loss of 2 Trillion Dollars. The Military system is virtually unaccountable for the money shoveled into it's gaping maw, yet we are on the hook to the Fed, who created that money out of thin air.

Since the politicians don't have the stomach to take on the DOD, then the Fed is the next best target.

Keep an Eye on this Den Davis (D) character. He is bought out by the Federal Reserve, and did them a big favor by stonewalling on the Audit the Fed amendment proposed by DeMint.

I'm just curious how long they can delay this Audit the Fed movement until they start the inevitable distractionary war that will shift attention away from their fraud.
