--quote--
Sally Kern has been spending her time representing her constituents by drafting up the “Oklahoma Citizens Morality Proclamation” which starts off like this…

We the People of Oklahoma, Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, in order to
secure and perpetuate the blessing of Liberty…
--/quote--
and it goes on from there

1. I feel so badly for her constituents. Yeah, plenty of them may believe
similarly but there have to be others who do not and who are suffering for having such a dolt as their Rep. (Sorry to be so mean about it, but this sort of thing just irks me to death.)

2. Your statement wasn't mean at all; in fact rather restrained in light of what an idiot
this woman is, and even more so , the idiots who vote for her.

5. Why do fools like Kern
keep insisting the the Founding Fathers said any of the BS attributed to them in this document? Most, if not all, of these "quotes" are totally spurious.

6. If right wingers didn't lie, what else would they have?
if it weren't for the incalculable damage they cause, they'd be pretty damn entertaining.

4. What Hath Our Education System Wrought?
Morans such as this keep are dangerous - Saddly there are too many of them in leadership positions where they can impede important matters such as fixing our broken democracy and healing our environment.

Just pray for those things. But get out there and physically stop Gays from marrying if you have to!

These people living in the Stone Age need to not be in charge of anything. They and their ideas are useless.

7. Fuck. You. Sally Kern.
The woman is not human. She is full of hate, intolerance, and bigotry. She should not be in a public service position.

14. There's no nut like a religious nut
It reminds me of the time Fartwell said AIDS was God's vengeance on homosexuals.

15. It is ignorant and delusional folks like this and her stultified and deluded constituents who have
enabled the greed that has brought this country to its knees. They can see only in religion the self loathing hate that makes up their daily lives. They contaminate the earth they walk upon with the cancer of unbridled viciousness and hate. The reasons we are not colonizing galaxies can be traced to these troglodytes and Luddites who make up the sludge that progress must battle to even take a baby step toward progress, civility and a civilization where there is love for one another.

16. Once again right-wingers need to wrap themselves in religious idiocy
Edited on Mon Jun-29-09 10:29 PM by hangman86
in order to blind themselves from the fact that they actually defend the people who commit the great moral atrocities of today. Maybe Jesus is against same-sex marriage and pornography. I mean I don't know...I've never met the guy, so I can't speak for him. But I would hope that those things would be a lot lower on his list of problems then war, poverty, human rights issues, torture, hunger, genocide, death due to inadequate healthcare, etc. Come to think of it, why isn't torture on your list Mrs. Kern? It's something that Americans are guilty of, that goes against the teachings of Jesus, and was going on right before the recession. Is it always Democratic causes that anger God?

17. Well, thats just fine;
Justice Scalia 'blamed' BANKERS!

'The Bush administration argued that it had to the right to pre-empt any state effort to regulate. But after winning that argument, the OCC failed to address the issues of predatory lending that Spitzer, and later his successor Andrew Cuomo, sought to address.

Spitzer and Cuomo were concerned that white borrowers appeared routinely to be given lower interest rates than blacks and Hispanics. Their hunch was later proved correct, as poor underwriting standards and the explosion of adjustable-rate subprime mortgages — those given to borrowers with the weakest credit, most often minorities — combined to create record foreclosures.

Losses in mortgage finance morphed into a global credit crisis, bringing down venerable investment banks including Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers and insurer American International Group. The rest is history.'
