by far, my favorite show of the season. diaz, stone and thorton were all excellent guests. it's so much better when maher doesn't invite a token far right-wing idiot for "balance." they already control 99.9% of media outlets, it's not like they need another venue.

We have to force ourselves to listen to those right-wing idiots. The biggest hinderance toward the progress of our nation is due to a very backward right- wing conservative ideology. Why you ask? Because they refuse to learn from history, the rest of the present-day industrialized world, and even the New Testament (a book who's message they warp in order to fit their selfish ends) -IGNORANCE. If we play the same game, we are no better than they are. If we always agreed, no one would grow.

I love real time and I'm a Bill Maher fanatic but I got in late so I couldn't see tonight's show and Stone? OK. but Diaz and Thornton? Are you fucking kidding me? This is the problem we face; we'll choose fucking movie-stars to listen to over actual experts. I'm a bleeding heart all the way and as much as I detest conservative pundits and politicians, I'll listen to a PJ O'rourke or an Andrew Breitbart before listening to a fucking Cameron Diaz. I don't know. Maybe I need to watch the episode but I'm a firm believer in "Know thy enemy" NOT "ignorance is bliss". Dismissing right-wingers as idiots is at times valid but it should never be used to justify complacency.
