1. I hate to be a dick
But did he mention the names of any of the 15 Iraqis killed today in a carbomb (or of the 37 yesterday)?

3. Which is strange...
I find it odd people are talking about a death of a specific person out of their country's control when they are ignoring multitudes of death daily in a region their own country occupies. Go figure

6. I think you know the real reason why.

I am surprised by a lot of things people seem unwilling to discuss here but when you see a young woman die right before your eyes on a video forum it's a shared experience that people are inevitably going to discuss with each other.

As far as Iraq is concerned, I think after 6 years of suicide bombings people have become kind of numbed and inured by the carnage. However, if we saw the thing go off and/or the ensuing gore...

The troops are supposed to be pulling out of the cities next Tuesday, I think most people can't wait until we fully pull out. Personally I reckon it's going to be a major bloodbath (which we're seeing the beginning of) but we could be waiting forever if we wanted to wait for a good time to pull out.

Have you heard about this? http://www.soschildrensvillages.org.uk/charity-news/iraqichildrenkilledonwaytoschool.htm

5. Occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and killing the people who live there

is also "heartbreaking" and "fundamentally unjust".
