these guys come along like a blast of fresh air. I am so happy I let the DCCC know I will no longer be giving them my political donations, and will instead only support the DFA, which in turn is supporting Change Congress in this terrific work they are doing. A big bucket of K&R

A major media organization needs to make some kind of list as a reminder and put it in a "high-traffic" area either on the web or television.

It needs to be a list of every democrat in the house and senate that opposes single-payer and for every one of them that has collected kick-backs from privatized medicine EVER needs to have an asterisk next to their name.

These politicians, their constituents, and advisors should NEVER be re-elected seeing is that their true motives for being in office would be exposed.

is to kick them out. Support any true progressive that may run against them in a primary and take them out of office. Sadly this seems to be the democrats main weakness and strength. The epubs locked step voted for anything on their parties agenda because of party loyalty and corportate donors. but the dems can't do that when it's really important due to their ties to big business also. The dems have a record for thinking for themselves but this isn't the case, it all has to do with being bought and paid for.

20. Good stuff, but these guys are missing an important factor.

Voters in these politicians' states are being massively propagandized by the health industries and local media to be terrified of public health care. We're talking full page ads every day in their local papers and nonstop commercials on local radio, not to mention scary op-eds. The right wing noise machine is back at the top of its game on this issue. All this has got to be skewing the feedback these pols get from their constituents.

Everyone who voted for more than a fresh face in the White House needs to be mobilized to counteract this propaganda onslaught, or the public option's goose is cooked.

22. Yet ANOTHER reason Obama needs to show more BACKBONE.

Seeing is that he has a democratic majority in the house and senate now, it's democrats, not republicans, who are is only obstacle. Instead of taking advantage of the fact that republicans are an irrelevancy, Obama is half-assing EVERYTHING. He needs to get on television at make it known WHY he can't pass more progressive legislation; start dropping some names. Either he's trying and certain democrats are standing in his way or he's just another corporate lap dog; either way he needs to make it known.

Demand that the current representatives change their votes on key issues like war and peace; health; responsibility (for crimes) of BuchCo; and stop listening to self-appointed leaders.

We know enough and it's time we're listened to.
