McAuliffe dispatched 60 staff members and 38 volunteers, many arriving more than a day early, to erect 25,000 signs extending 20 miles.

IIRC- for the Obama/Biden campaign the lawn signs were for sale to support the ticket...

7. DLC thinking and GOP/DINO thinking, yes...
I know what you mean re DC thinking yet- DC thinking fluxes (hopefuly) with those in power. Some in power do good.

8. The predominant thought in DC is that money is the answer to everything
policy, experience, ideology mean nothing- money rules and that includes being able to simply buy voters
