On June 6th, tens of thousands of people came together to organize for health care reform by attending thousands of Health Care Organizing Kickoff events in all fifty states.

These events were an opportunity for Americans to voice their support for President Obama's three principles for health care reform. Go to www.barackobama.com/HealthCare to read the principles and to add your voice to the growing chorus for reform in America.
Together, well win health care reform the same way we won the election: Building support one block, one neighbor, one conversation at a time.

1. if you look at the map in the background of the second half of video, you can see

that the ultimate goal of this socialist administration is to divide this country into 6 large socialist states.

<sarcasm>

(but I predict you will hear this from the right - 'see, it isn't about health care, it is about the judge and the supreme court' - I wouldn't have let this video go out with that map and Sotomayor in the background if this is truly about health care and non-political concerns to fix our system. Like it or not, you are giving the opposing side REASONS to not get behind your cause, when there is no reason to do bring that subject into the mix of this health care debate. Visuals matter... unfortunately.)

2. I've seen what is deemed, defended and supported as quality health care
in Tennessee and Virginia. http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=62 Clearly Profit Care is more important than Patient Care in America.

3. At my Organizing Kickoff - everyone in attendance at the end of the meeting raised their
hand in favor of Obama adopting a single payer health insurance for all Americans.
One physician who was in favor of a plan of private and public plans together - jumped ship by the end of the meeting and joined the rest of the group and voted in favor of single payer health plan.

There was only one vote against single-payer. You are never going to believe who it was from? It was from a health insurance agent who attended our meeting. I think she was feeling more than a little bit uncomfortable.

4. Impressive.
I've been to about a half dozen community events about this issue, and there's never been anyone from the insurance biz anywhere nearby. Not that they have any possible interest in the outcome...

5. We had the same support for single payer at our party with only one person
unsure but her boss supports a plan without a public option. Everyone I know that knows anything about this is for a single payer system. Why is Washington saying they don't have the support?

Maybe, just maybe the hearings will help Obama to be convinced the we can "start from scratch"! yea- we MUST start from scratch!
