3. Nope, I stand by all the big corporate giants calling shots
And industries are at war with each other for laws that favor them over the others. We, and the government are now the children of warring parents.

4. The way I see it ..
the Fed is the only one that benefits from every dollar made/spent. The various corporations (other than banks) serve to 'motivate' production and materially distract us from what could be without greed at the top.

5. Our government is owned by Trans-National Corporations, so we are Slaves to those corporations.

There could be such a thing as "government of, by, and for the people". Government is not inherently bad. Ignorant ir-responsible voters create the environment for bad government.

We also have a very corrupt political system: we seriously need campaign finance reform, so that our elected representatives start representing us again not just lobbyists and those who help them get elected in campaigns that are ridiculously expensive. We also need voting reform. Voting machines and the private companies that run them rip us off and allow elections to be stolen. We should have instant run-off voting on paper ballots counted in public. Because of politics, the fact that anti-Trust laws are not enforced allows Trans-National corporations to grow and grow, gobbling up ALL of our Media and then media is a propaganda tool of the prevailing economic powers and this further corrupts our political process. Our government is a byproduct of these corruptions, but at the heart of our problems is ignorant ir-responsible voters and non-voters and people who are waaaaaay to willing to let guys like the guy in this video do their thinking for them.

Once the factors in the foregoing paragraph create dysfunctional government, people, with agendas and prejudices of their own, engage in self-fulfilling prophecies about bad government. Self-fulfilling prophecies work like this: I assume you are bad. I treat you in a manner that is consistent with what I think of you, i.e. I think you are bad so I treat you badly. Because I treat you badly, you react to being treated badly by being bad to me, because of how I am treating you. Substitute the word "government" for the word "you" in the foregoing sentences and you'll get the idea of how self-fulfilling prophecies about bad government create bad government.

BTW, who is that person in this video and why should we listen to him any more than we would listen to anyone else. I think this guy's view of humanity is prejudiced by negativity and pessimism and I do not agree that the desire to enslave others is intrinsic to human nature. There is a very dark bias in this guy's thinking that I think excludes him from being anyone that I would allow to think for me.

Here are some ways to free yourself, despite what the government is doing: Get outside of your usual world. Learn more about everything. Experience more people in more situations. Go to Europe if you haven't been there yet. Do your own thinking.

6. P.S. I think the desire to enslave others is intrinsic to the speaker's nature and, hence, he thinks
it is universal.
