This is posted in honor of and in some cases in memory of the victims of child sexual abuse in the Catholic schools of Ireland.

The Catholic hirearchy there is refusing to release the names of the abusers and is shielding them from prosecution.

1. Thank you for this.
This caused me to lookup Joni Mitchell (to see what happened to her after she became publicly scarce in the late 70's), the Sami people (erroneously called Lapps), and Magdelene laundries (which is as heartbreaking as the song).

2. Her voice sounds better than ever....
She has a raspy quality now.. more clarity that comes with years of living..

I didn't know that she is also a visual artist (painter).

3. Joni's been painting for years...
Almost all of her album covers are her paintings.
