5. K&R. (Wish someone would out the drug warrior hypocrites.)
But I think he went over the line with Ed Koch. I don't think that rose to the level of hypocrisy.

17. He might be gay..
But he's so fucking ugly no one will have sex with him. It seems like that is what they had to do in order to be outed in the film. Would you do it with that ugly asshole?

8. "Family Values" politicos are on record about Charlie Crist
I can't remember if it was Stemberger or Caton or Johnnie Byrd, but when the possibility of Crist being VP came up- the response was that the rumors were too old and too many for the GOP to "take a chance" on Crist being gay.

I know some people are uncomfortable about this- but sometimes we have to do uncomfortable things. I have heard people say that it's wrong- and I just don't buy that. What they mean is that THEY wouldn't want to be outed- but then THEY probably wouldn't have done what these people have done. Yes, many of us have done hypocritical things. Some of us stood idly by while a gay person was mocked or bullied in high school, fearing that we would be next. Some of us have failed to stand up for ourselves or others when we should have. Some of us have actually participated in a bad act towards a gay person, usually long ago in high school or something like that. These feelings are understandable- but they aren't what is being addressed here.

These people are in positions of serious influence. These people are adults. These people have not only done bad things, they have made a career of it. Using gay issues to rabble rouse, to rally their troops, exploiting ignorance and bigotry about gay people is the TRADEMARK of politics in general and GOP politics in particular. It's in their fucking platform.

Charlie Crist at 20 (1976) being in the closet could be seen as a social climber who didn't see his sexuality as "anyone else's business". Even though it was only 33 years ago, times were quite different- those of us in major metropolitan areas were actually the ones kidding ourselves. Even San Francisco wasn't as safe for gay people as we might like to think. Charlie Crist at 30 could be thought of as a late bloomer, if he had bloomed, he could be forgiven and welcomed into the fold as we did so many such people in the 1980's. Charlie Crist at 50 and still playing this game? Sorry, it's not 1976 anymore, or 1950 either. This man is not a victim of his circumstances- he's been making a choice for a long time now, and he most recently made the choice to support Amendment 2 after he said he wouldn't. So to hell with him.

Too many gay people have worked too hard to put up with closet cases in this day and time, especially those working against us.

15. Great interview.
I've seen people do interviews for this movie before, and this one was by far the best imo. Whatever your level of agreement or disagreement, you have to admit they are making some serious waves.

23. Agreed.
I just saw a couple interviews over the weekend. I believe one was from the Daily Show from Friday maybe? Can't recall now. Really looking forward to seeing it, though I will probably have to travel a hundred miles or so to do so. I am sure it will be worth it.

I love Cenk, but when does the show become TMATs - The Middle-Aged Turks?

24. Nice to see Armenians and Turks working together, though
So they have that going for them.

Really like these clips, and hope to see the gang get a wider audience in the future...

19. That was an excellent interview.
To those upset by 3rd party outting.... it's time to stop thinking being gay is something to hide. Only straight people can make it "alright". We gays already think it is (well, most of us I hope).

And what ever happened to bisexuals? Huh? It's just straight/gay now?
