Ingraham asks if Obama and Biden have anything better to do than go on a photo op eating burgers.

2. I felt my brain starting to melt when Ingraham was talking.
Hannity was tongue-in-cheeking it, she was trying to be serious. The mocking and condescension over what amounts to nothing is absurd.

7. She is extraordinarily difficult to listen to.
Hearing her nasal, whiny screeching on the outrage of Obama ordering mustard is almost too much. "Do these men not have anything better to do?" she asks. Good question, Laura.

What on earth is wrong with these people? They're loons.

36. She's an eternal high school sophomore
She makes fun of how people talk, what clothes they wear, bitching about people's "tone of voice"...

That's pretty much her whole show - petty whining about tiny, tiny details that mean NOTHING.

4. Mustard on a burger
has been a staple in Southeastern NE for generations. Dijon just adds a touch of white wine or vinegar.

Imagine being married to Laura Ingraham? I'd go postal.

6. What's absurd isn't Hannity's remarks on Obama's burger, it's that ALL of the RW talking heads
Edited on Fri May-08-09 05:51 AM by bulloney
were attacking the mustard/burger "scandal" on their shows.

It's so obvious that these assclowns get their talking points from the same source. It doesn't matter who you listen to, they all use the same key word or phrase for the day so that a consistent message is pounded into the heads of the knuckledraggers who actually believe the swill they spew on the airwaves.

And I thought the conservatives were supposed to be the rugged individualist, free-thinking people of the world. Cripe, they can't take a shit without getting Limbaugh's approval anymore.

9. The radical right
and their media handmaidens become less relevant with every attempt to take down Democrats at every turn. Their reason to exist is unimportant to the vast majority. They have a niche audience that shrinks with every convoluted utterance. When mustard on a cheeseburger is news, they have no reason to exist. Our newspapers are failing because they've lost credibility with the readers from giving the Bush cartel a free pass. TV news is propaganda, designed to soften the brain and keep the populace ignorant.
Pox (deliberate typo) News is just a glaring example of low brow infotainment disguised as news, appealing to the weak minded and easily frightened.
The right wing propagandists have left the real world and are flailing wildly as if in a death throe.
The pain brought upon us by the Bush cartel is making more and more Americans aware that their living standards have been reduced, and more people are understanding they don't have the luxury to remain ignorant.
Nobody really cares what Republicans have to say, unless it's under oath.
Nobody really believes what Republicans have to say, even if it is under oath.

What has become of news reporting in this country. I mean can you imagine Walter Cronkite saying something like this. "A US air strike in Afghanistan killed over 100 civilians and Obama puts mustard on his cheeseburger. And that's the way it is." These people are pathetic.

or was she being a complete racist? Her "bro" talk to me seemed a bit racist. I could be reading too much into it I have been guilty of that before but I think she was being completely racist.

I have to wonder if these people have any shame? It is like the lack the ability to actually feel embarrassed. I would be ashamed to call myself a conservative these days.

16. Laurie Ing--just like Porky Limbaugh and all the rest.
I'd just like to point out that lots of us like only mustard on burgers. And he asked for "spicy" mustard first--just didn't want regular yellow mustard. Most people's taste after childhood goes toward more spicy stuff. When I was growing up we had "childrens' mustard", yellow mustard without the bite, and "grown-ups' mustard". Besides the guy grew up in Indonesia where spicy food is common. And last, I read somewhere that Michelle has a campaign in her family to avoid high fructose corn syrup. And most ketchups have it--so that might be another reason.

By the way, Trader Joe's ketchup is the best. No high fructose corn syrup and it's the best I ever tasted.

So people who don't want ketchup on their hamburgers are unmanly now? That has to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard, even from a drunk.

Hannity just hasn't had his head out of his ass for over a decade. He doesn't have a clue what's going on. Ketchup? What a joke these people are.
