1. Is it a lie, or more conservative ignorance on history?
I've said a number of times that there's a direct correlation between how conservative you are and how poor your grades were in history.

6. Sometimes it's a lie, sometimes it's ignorance...
...but it is always self-serving.

When they lie, they do so on purpose. Not only for their own direct benefit in an argument, but in order to keep political debate muddied. That way it is hard for opponents to cut through to the truth of the matter -- because the truth has been obscured.

It is one of their tactics. It has served them very well, and continues to do so.

2. All those Asians look alike to Bill-O
Zhou Enlai, Mao Zedong, Jackie Chan, Jiang Zemin, Chow Yun-Fat... they all look like the guy at his local Chinese take-out to him.

4. Why is Chavez always referred to as, 'Dictator?'
He is the democratically elected leader of Venezuela.

5. They really do need too many "bitch slaps" to try to bring them back to earth...
"hypocrisy" is their middle name. Fortunately, they are struggling mightily to find anything to condemn President Obama and his administration for. I'm sure he will give them something before his first four years are up...but my God, give me a break.

We just need to KEEP POINTING OUT how ridiculous and hypocritical they are....daily, over and over and over again. They just don't get it. They NEVER WILL get it. They are, after all, the leaders of the "morons" in this nation.

7. The RW's criticism of Obama shows more than just ignorance of history.
Edited on Sun Apr-26-09 01:39 PM by Tutankhamun
It also shows how deliberately isolated from any real journalism a lot of right wingers are. Anyone who is exposed to more than just propaganda such as Fox Noise or Drudge will immediately see the Rumsfeld and Hussein photo and the Nixon meets Mao photo and realize how hypocritical it is to slam Obama shaking hands with Chavez.

O'Reilly is playing to the willfully, deliberately ignorant Faux viewers, the ones who stuff their heads right back in the sand as soon as his show is over. The ones who don't want to sully themselves with "biased" "liberal media".

8. The funny thing is that the RW thinks that the internet doesn't exist.
Like we all have to take their word for it cause the TV tells us. As if they believe we would also be too lazy to look this up at the library. Mostly because their main demographic is the knuckle dragging illiterate and wouldn't dare to question.

9. And r's wonder why so many look at them with condenscending
sneers?! Because they listen to, and buy into these gasbags' illogical, foolish, and ignorant rants! Their "commentators" go on TV and/or radio and pontificate using 4th grade reasoning skills, and then bully their way through what should be thoughtful debate. Their statements are easily refuted, proved false, and still the wing nuts flock to them for their news and "guidance". The level of stupidity on the right is absolutely shameful. Hannity, Beck, Billo, and Rush, truly a collective waste of human potential, or just human waste depending on your inclination to be charitable.
