Turley on Olbermann tonight! 4 mins into clip Turley mentions that Obama may be passing this along to Holder for him to be the Fall Guy! This makes alittle sense to moi! Note today Obama said open to interrogation abuse investigation Bipartisan Fashion! Well we know that ingredient "Bipartisan" does not exist today!

2. Blame? Fall guy?:
Don't wanna see this, really. We know/knew that Prez O wouldn't want the burden of this on his shoulders, and fortunately for him and us, Holder has stepped up to the plate.

3. Shifting blame? WTF? This is the protocol. This is the Attorney General's job
Turley is becoming a troll.

And Obama was responding to a question. When asked if he would support a committee? And he said if something was done like that it should be done in a bipartisan fashion. Again Obama is the smart politician in this party. He doesn't want this looking like a witch hunt by just Democrats. For Republicans can run around during mid term election season claiming Democrats are are focusing on Bush instead of the economy.

29. That way if it backfires(it won't) then you can only blame Holder. Obama just wanted to move on

4. Sorry this is ludicrous.
The executive branch doesn't launch investigations. If any investigation comes out of the administration, it will be through the DOJ.

7. could it be as simple as no one wants to chance getting killed by the CIA?

it doesn't sound farfetched when you know it only takes one disgruntled person, with the right tools, the right access and the right moment to strike. As sophisticated as our world has gotten, there is still no foolproof way to protect anyone from someone who sincerely wants to do someone harm.

The DOJ has always and will always be in charge of these kind of allegations not the President.

9. For being
a smart man, Turley lost his mind on this one.

Investigation/Prosecution is not the job of the President. I'm not understanding what the hell he's talking about.

10. That makes two of us. And each time he appears, he goes unrebutted.
I'm sorry, but this is the one area where Keith & David are letting us down. There should be other experts on to challenge Turley from time to time. Turley seems to forget that Obama, himself, is a constitutional scholar.

18. What do you
want him to do? Become another George Bush and bypass the law? Obama can do nothing about prosecuting those involved. He knows it, you know it and Turley knows it. But it's easier to pretend not to know it so you can continue to slam away at the President.

19. makes some sense, just wasn't fully thought out when he spoke
the fact is, the president is putting the responsibility on who it should be, but he sorta tipped his cap a bit when he spoke out against people who did the torturing to be protected, and I see how he had to, they would claim it was all ordered by him.

Seriously, do we want to believe that the president is all for letting torture go unchecked???? I don't wanna believe that. B*sh, sure, he could care less and woulda like to flick the switch on the people he sent to death in TX, but I think the president isn't like that at all, and really wants justice and maybe had to tell Holder to follow the law....
