17. At one Kerry rally I attended I recall a rowdy group of neocons

on the hill above the farm we were at, raising hell during Kerry's speech.. Kerry literally welcomed them to come down and listen, but they stayed where they were. Not ONCE have I ever heard any threats at any Democratic rallies. Not ONE.

In fact there was no loyalty oath to sign. I even though the Secret Service was a bit to casual for my comfort, but that was how he was.

America is now seeing the true face of these people, unless they get their information from Fox 'News.' Mean, racist, petty people that would rather see the economy fail than a liberal succeed. People that care about only one thing, getting back into power and carrying on with their insane, and thoroughly rejected, set of policies.

Liberals were angry because * was failing again and again, it isn't that we didn't want him to succeed. Indeed he squandered quite possibly the greatest goodwill towards this nation in our history with his swaggering, cowboy, bullshit.

And people say there is no difference in the parties? I have to disagree at the most fundamental levels.

22. Cenk, my dear, this is nothing new

Back in '03 when I was protesting before we went to war, a lady came to where we were gathered, and yelled at us, telling us that the Constitution was no better than toilet paper and that BUSH had the right to do whatever he wanted. She then spat on us and pushed some of us to the ground before the deputy arrived and led her away. At the same rally a "Christian" woman said vile things and then had her son come up to us to tell us Bush was the second coming of Christ.

So no, this sort of craziness and violent talk and behavior doesn't surprise me at all.
