1. Superb Investigative Journalism

Rachel is more than clever, she is a superb investigative journalist. (She'd also make a great trial lawyer). This is the kind of journalism that our country has been lacking for the last 30 years. Had there been a just a few journalists such as Rachel interrogating the Bush Administration in 1982-83, it would not have been possible for Bush-Cheney to have deceived the American people and thus invaded Iraq.

4. Written record?

He's is being too evasive here. And if most of the prisoners of Gitmo don't have records or charges, what makes you think that there were written records of those meetings she is asking about? I would imagine that there hasn't been enough time to go over the 'written' records of all of those meetings, if there were anything written. And who can verify them? They could be lies, just like the WMDs.

I, for one, would love to see heads roll over this torture issue, but we have to give them (people in the know) time to get the facts, get the proof and then we can charge the administration so we can convict them. I don't want another Ted Stevens mistake to take away justice. Time for patience eh?
