It was a surprise to find my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QVWVX4cFhw in this serious forum! I'm happy for two reasons: first, it led me to discover the DU message board; second, it boosted my video views (284/761 are from the embedded video here).

I'm also amazed how easily the 'news report' was believed, or at least considered feasible. Not because it shows gullibility, but because it demonstrates how expectant we've become of system-shaking changes in the days ahead.

Thanks to tomm2thumbs for posting the video. Yes, it is an April Fool's prank, albeit with an underlying serious theme. My YT channel (http://www.youtube.com/cnewq5) mostly consists of fully serious stuff, with an emphasis on the economy and politics, and is pretty controversial.

On the G20, I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I wonder if there will be at least a hint of the SDR-as-reserve-currency in the final declaration?
