2. Max and Perry

I've only been exposed to Max on DU links. I get the impression he's been around for a while in financial journalism circles and he has a show on BBC, doesn't he?

I am not a financial person, but if I was I'd listen to Max a helluva lot more than, say, Jim Cramer.

I also like Perry, but he is a good video blogger, not a network guy.

3. Max Kaiser has my sympathy

Max Kaiser was one of those who picked up on present and coming financial trouble very early on. On Al Jazera Kaiser did a very well researched feature on the future of the dollar after a few articles had been made public about the role of the dollar in the conflict with Iraq.

Since then I have seen Kaiser doing some sort of Hunter Thomson impression to not so great effect. Basically he is on the tinfoil side of things which happens to be aligned with reality for a while. Its anybody's guess which way he will go if or when reality and paranoia separates again.

...a few of which I had already seen from his Oracle program. Laugh-out-loud funny!

But the thing is, the man has an uncanny knack for predicting what will happen next in the financial world. Go watch a few of his Oracle broadcasts, they regularly recap his predictions. He has a much better track record than most economists right now.

And he's more entertaining than most comics. What's not to like?
