"Rachel Maddow reminds all of us just what got us to where we are in the first place with this financial crisis. Deregulation.

For anyone who would care enough to know (and be completely disgusted with) just how big of a mess we're actually in, go read Matt Taibbi's latest article ( http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/26793903/the_big_takeover/print ) for Rolling Stone: "The Big Takeover: The global economic crisis isn't about money - it's about power. How Wall Street insiders are using the bailout to stage a revolution"."

2. Can we clone Rachel?
Edited on Sun Mar-22-09 03:32 PM by NV Whino
Aside from the fact that I wan to bring her home with me, she is the only one who is getting to the core of the problem. She is the only one presenting the problem in understandable terms for those of us who trust Quicken to balance our checkbooks. She is the only one who seems to come up with viable solutions.

Ack, if I want take her home, I'd better spell her name correctly.

5. Gramm, Leach Bliley. So when people blame Clinton, do I have to agree?
If this whole mess started in 1999, when Clinton was President, and people say that Clinton put acts into place that started this series of events, do I have to say......gulp..... you are right?

6. I've enjoyed seeing her on talk shows, as well.
She's very aware, personable and articulate. Not to mention having her head screwed on well, politically.
