5. Crooks always try to blame it on somebody else...
look at Bush, Cheney and the GOP for example...

7. It's a discussion worth having
No, Cramer is not Bernie Madoff nor is he one of the crooks at AIG. No one is saying he is.

However, could CNBC and other news outlets on the Wall Street beat have been of better service to us had they asked more aggressive questions of bankers and financial managers? Couldn't they have simply questioned the sustainability of an economy premised on making CEOs richer while production (i.e., jobs) is outsourced and yet American consumers are still expected to buy, buy, buy?

Of course, we shouldn't be picking on the financial reporters. It's not really a different discussion than the one we're having about the MSM and its velvet glove handling of the Bush Junta during the run up to the Iraq war. Where was the skepticism? Where were the journalists asking hard, probing questions? Why did we have to go to the foreign press to read about a department in the Pentagon vetting questionable intelligence?

8. This is why Jon Stewart demonstrates how a real interview should be held
He hits them with follow up questions, with real content, and he is just a comedian. When she asked him "When you said you would try to do better, what did you mean?". What she meant with that question is that if the media holds no responsibility as Cramer stated just a moment before, then why end your interview with "We will try to improve"? There is nothing to improve upon if you are doing everything correctly, right Cramer? You can't offer to fix something if it isn't broken. If you are offering to do a "better job" from now on, then it means you acknowledge that you are currently doing a poor job. Instead, whe let him get away with the answer of "I think everybody needs to do better". He knew what she was really asking, She knew what she was asking, everybody knew that she caught him with a flawed defense, but she just let him get away with it.

10. enabling liars will say whatever you want to hear
I mean, if that is what you believe, I mean I don't think that's wrong or anything, but I'm sure there is thinking to the contrary, and if you are one of those who thinks that way, then... well, you certainly are on the right track with that, I mean given everything that's out there and all the news coming out... blah, blah, blah

Cramer the Blamer, look in the mirror
