which is that Obama's hand is forced. We are in the middle of a demand-collapse spiral of death, and in that kind of economic climate the govt is the only agent with the power to re-light the demand ram jets.

That's why we need to eat this current round of deficit spending. And maybe the next few rounds too. And yes, its extra risky, thanks to the previous 8 year borrow-and-spend binge of the GOP that left us with 9 trillion in debt.
