1. Please tell me what he said
Paul Harvey's voice screws up my computer, and frankly, I can't stand to listen to him. And that's the rest of the f*ing story.♠

2. Rush Limbaugh Senior

The guy is/was a Rand Corporation Opinion shaper, bought and paid for with your money. Forget about the fact that Ray Gunn was spending trillions of dollars on Star Wars at the time. I believe he was also giving stinger missiles to the Taliban to use against the Soviets in Afganistan as well.

Sugar coated poison is still poison.

However, it is a good video that brings to the surface the reason why Inflation and the publically disseminated Consumer Price Index have been manipulated over the years. He explains it quite clearly, that if inflation grows, then the Salaries for Goverment workers, Benefits for Social Security, Military Payrolls, and a whole slew of other expenditures linked to the Cost Of Living Allowance (COLA) would increase to keep pace with inflation. It is estimated that a beneficiary receiving 800 a month today, would need to receive 2,100 a month if the data had not been altered.

These indicies have been fiddled with again and again, substituting Hamburger for steak in the basket of goods used to calculate the CPI. Even new indicies were created, such as the "Core" Consumer Price Index, which excludes fuel and food. Many times the media will report this figure and hope that nobody notices, or is too asleep to care, which is just about everyone struggling to make a living.

3. liars undermine perceptions of truth
liars war on truth, but do it with wise guy tactics that we lumpen are too busy working our minimum wage jobs to reason out and to isolate the lies and dishonesty, which is the thread keeping the entire reactionary philosophy together.
taking candy from a baby is easy- it's in fact the epitome of easy. And by lying to it, from place of authority, ie the news media, the victim people becomes a baby

4. What is wrong with that exactly
He said we want it both ways, tons of benefits and low taxes and how that will cause problems. I agree.
