1. If I was forty years older,
I'd stalk Tony Bennett. That voice. Hubba hubba!

4. Lyrics
.
.
.

For once in my life I have someone who needs me
Someone Ive needed so long
For once, unafraid, I can go where life leads me
And somehow I know Ill be strong

For once I can touch what my heart used to dream of
Long before I knew
Someone warm like you
Would make my dreams come true

For once in my life I wont let sorrow hurt me
Not like it hurt me before
For once, I have something I know wont desert me
Im not alone anymore

5. Is Tony Benedetto not the
cutest thing! I remember an article about him not too long ago that left no doubt that's he a Democrat and an artist.

6. Tony Bennett! Wow. One of the best (and I'm under 60 years old! He's not just for
senior citizens!)

7. Tears, too. Wow.
I met him once, Tony Bennett. The nicest man (and very handsome)!
I was alone in Vegas and we were eating at the same restaurant.
He stopped at my table and said hello. I told him I was happy to meet him and I was going to his show that night.
Later, when I walked into the showroom, I was seated up front, next to some people who owned casinos.
Wow -- I've always figured it was a nod from him. How nice!

The song -- used to be "our song" -- my first love. Long story, without a happy ending.
Still, it's a GREAT song.
(I hope the old love still smiles when he hears it)

8. I was SO unimpressed by Mary, Mary.
Tony did a "Tony Bennett" on Stevie's ditty. The Marys MISSED A GREAT OPPORTUNITY and revealed themselves as nothing more than mediocre hacks.

10. Same here
That was awesome! I had no idea how that was going to work, but it could have been written as a balad. Two of our musical greats.

BTW, Stevie Wonder turned 60 last fall. We're almost the exact same age.
