What makes them think the detainees want to live with these red necks? And besides it would be in a prison, not next door to them. They should let them go and deport them to wherever they want to go. We tortured, we blew it. They have no evidence. And to try the "mastermind" of 9/11 would require evidence. This is going to get good. We already have terrorists in our U.S. prisons. Sirhan Sirhan has been in prison for about 45 years. We had Timmothy McVeigh, we have the original world trade center bombers (under Clinton) in prison. If you listen to these jerks, if you commited a really, really bad crime, you'd never go to jail because no one would want you in their neighborhood.

On second thought, maybe that's how Bush figured he could get away with his actions.

I'll bet they made it sound like Murtha wanted to release the prisoners right into the streets, not put them in prison, which is vastly different. I blame Fox, not the interviewees, who I suspect were victims of an unscrupulous reporter.

My impression of Pennsylvanians is that they aren't redneck. If you want to talk to real slack-jawed, scary-ass rednecks, go to Mississippi, where the folks are convinced Obama will turn Mississippi over to the United Nations and black people.

There are probably worse people in the jails now than the people in Gitmo. These people also seem to forget (and the reporter conveniently ignores) that the Gitmo prisoners have been there without ever being charged.
