1. The reporter is wrong about both Bush and Reagan

Both changed to a pro life position from a pro choice one.

2. I don't think he's right about George H.W. Bush.

I'm pretty sure he was pro-choice before 1980, when he was selected as Reagan's running mate.

I'm having difficulty finding unequivocal confirmation of this. I found plenty of references that say this is the case, but no specifics were provided to back it up.

4. There was a whole series of Doonesbury cartoons

about HW checking his manhood into a "blind trust" over the issue of choice. He was sublimating his opinion for the good of unity with Reagan on the ticket. Where did Schuster ever get his oh so wrong "facts" from? I hope he at least issues a retraction.

Babs Bush also hinted pretty plainly, in her book (co-written by the dog) I believe, that she was pro-choice, no matter what those other two idiots said.
