Obama is doing it via video too, and more people are paying attention than in the past.

Actually, I'm not sure if it's always the Pres doing the radio addresses, but it often is, or else another party leader.

4. the paradox and promise of this moment

so true... so many looking for work; so much work needing to be done. Interesting, a very spiritual concept (the gift within the challenge, with all this shit there must be a pony somewhere, etc...), and he also knows how to confront the problem pragmatically. Pragmatic, I think this'll be my current favorite word.

I'm starting to sound like an Obama Groupie, but I just can't even describe how much I admire this guy!

I know he will be making things transparent as possible, because he even started a website like this while in the Senate.

Yep, yep, yep...there's a new sherriff in town, baby. He was chomping at the bit to get in there and start making this work. I have every faith that for Obama this is a matter of principle, that the country should run smoothly, that government should be there for help, not squandering or making just some people wealthy... he GETS it, and now he can make something happen with that know-how.

we are rebuilding this nation like they did after wwII, only bigger. watch, it's gonna be great!

and his intentions are good. After eight years of greed, this has got to be an improvement, no matter how much obstructionism we face from the corporatists.
