2. If she says "impeachment is back on the table" tomorrow, only then will I say she's redeemed herself

3. Sooooo, is she picking Impeachment up off the floor where she swept it
a while ago?

Suuuuuuure, now that the political winds have changed, she'll bother to pay lip service to something she didn't have the moral backbone to do a couple years ago. I don't care what she says. She's fucking complicit.

4. Again I say.... if a man in full view of 100 people, on main street
on Sunday morning... did something say, blew up his car.. with dynamite... do you think there would need to be an investigation or do you think everyone would agree that he blew up his car? Investigations are an excuse for decisive action, they are an out, a detour from justice, a method for working up to (or not) a result and or conclusion that you already know is true.

What the investigation reveals is who has more pull, clout, cunning, guile and power to avoid justice. It's a football game with the goalposts and sidelines replaced with words and political afiliations.

9. Investigation is what she can do
She doesn't have a police force. She can't put people in jail. It is Obama with his Justice department that can do that.

What she can do, and should do, and she shouldn't back down an inch on this, is to investigate the contempt of Congress. A common problem with Congressional investigations is that the Justice Department tells Congress to back off because they might screw up a pending investigation. Well, if Obama doesn't want his Justice Department to have a criminal investigation, then Congress is free to use all its powers to bring facts into the open. That may not put anybody in jail, but at least the public's right to know would be served.

5. What she's really saying here
Is to investigate only the crimes that she was not involved in, or complicit in perpatrating.

11. She sure struck a rattled, defensive posture
wavin' her hands all over the place, letting herself be intimidated by Wallace.

12. I see a tiny glimmer of hope that there just might be some kind of
reckoning. It's so important to stop and review everything that has happened since 2000, sort out the illegal from the merely offensive, the unforgivable from the eccentricities of the Bushies. I just worry that Pelosi will be overcautious and too generous to Bush and his friends in differentiating violations of law from differences of opinion. She is just too soft and too implicated, too close to the past hereself, to do that job.

A team of lawyers should be appointed to do that.

to put the American war criminals on trial at The Hague ? http://www.wisecountyissues.com If America does nothing under the Obama Administration it will be shameful.
