I have to agree. That's not really funny.

I really can't imagine making more than a polite chuckle about it if someone told me. Limbaugh acted like it was some sort of honor and the funniest thing ever.

16. Here's the thing about the salad dressing incident

(as it came to be known) . . . it is exactly typical of everything we have heard about Bush. He is always pointing out fault with other people, trying to make them feel bad or awkward, all in good "fun" of course.

I was once at a pretty formal dinner and a colleague of mine said to me, "If your wife were here, she might tell you to attend to your nose." What he was saying, in a delightfully tactful way to my mind, was that I had a small booger hanging out of my nose, which I discretely took care of, and thanked him for bringing to my attention.

Can you imagine Bush in that situation? "Wipe your nose, this is the White House, come on!" Making a big deal of it in faux-jovial style. But it is really an aggressive, mean-spirited move.
