President Bush held his final news conference Monday. Bush fervently defended his record, saying he made the nation safer following the 9/11 attacks, rejected the idea that the nation's moral standing has been damaged over the past eight years and defended the government's response to Hurricane Katrina. We speak with veteran White House correspondent Helen Thomas. She's the most senior member of the White House press corps and has covered every president since Kennedy.

that not finding WMDs was a "significant dissappointment." I haven't heard any of the talking heads mention this, did anybody listen? Hundreds of thousands of lives lost, but failure to find WMDs was the significant dissappointment. Crap, Tuesday the 20th can't get here fast enough, this nightmare finally over!

7. God, what a sick man he is, he needs mental health treatment

for his alcohol and drug misuse, slurring away in that press conference. He really gets me sick, and we are the ones paying for his total negligence, they better find a way to prosecute his ass.


Helen Thomas what a wonderful woman she is, and I hope President Obama answers her first question. I would repeat the same thing about Gaza, why not stop the killing?
