2. Cops use tasers because they have tasers, and tasers are easy to use.

Tasers must give the users an enormous feeling of power. Tasering someone is a great way to reduce your stress.

While we are at it: why do parents berate and nag their children? Because they can. Because they are bigger. Because they are frustrated. Because they are angry. Because they want absolute control.

And most important, because they don't know any other way. They have never learned non-violent communication. And they don't feel they have the time to communicate properlly under the circumstances. Anyway . . . my opinion.

5. They certainly aren't "good cops" if they look the other way, they are accessory to the crimes!

Cops get away with amazing amount of shit, yet the court always seems to take their side....simply because most see cops as their only means of protection...cops know this and capitalize constantly on it.
