4. The problem is that peace IS profitable. It's just hard to make people understand.
Wars COST MONEY and LIVES! Peace brings stability and productivity. Peace is harmonious and in balance with the world and society. War is chaotic and destructive. War is nothing more than making mass murder and armed robbery legal for a little while. I've never heard of one single instance in which those actions were considered profit generating enterprises. Can I call my broker and ask him to purchase some shares of the Gaza invasion or the Iraq occupation to add to my portfolio? What's the rate of return of my investment in the war on terror or the war on drugs? I'd be better off financialy if I loaned a drug cartel some money at a high interest rate.
