Which is about the size of the moon, ain't nothin' we could do. No weapons, no divert is course, don't even bother looking. Just k y a Goodbye.

Its a little overblown. Why worry about that? the smaller ones are worse, there will be survivors.

2. That was my thought

Ceres, the largest asteroid, is about 600 miles in diameter. This illustrated asteroid appeared much larger than that.

As a dramatic piece this was actually quite good.
