4. I have to disagree with you on one point...

Bush couldnota, wouldnota shouldnota been a great President as he failed in every other challenge in his life. He was destined to be a bad president which probably gave him the reason to follow Cheney and company in hopes that they knew what they were talking about.

3. A Superman cartoon, WW-II era, was called "The Japatuers" (sp?)

The entire episode involved Japanese spies (tragically stereotypical cartooning, I might add) stealing the largest plane in the world for just that purpose - and another from the same era, "The Bullet Plane" I think it was called, depicts multiple buildings being destroyed (with flames) as it flew through them. Of course Superman saves the day and Lois Lane manages to get herself into trouble by being a ditz, but that was all expected.

So "Nobody could have anticipated terrorists using a plane as a weapon" is a pretty silly statement on its own.

THE COAL INDUSTRY comes to Appalachia, rape, pillage and decapitate our home, THE COAL INDUSTRY uses less workers since they use machines I call redneck skyscrapers twenty stories tall that gouges more with less man hours. THE COAL INDUSTRY ships our coal to China to power their Empire while Appalachian kids who deserve better are falling behind on education because the schools ( built in the 1950's ) are so old and outdated here in KING COAL COUNTRY - Wise County, Virginia can't even power up the latest technology they need to compete on a global scale with the kids in China ! 25% of Wise County, Virginia is gone for ten thousand years after we are extinct and THE COAL INDUSTRY has permit requests out for another 34% of our home. THE COAL INDUSTRY fills their filty pockets with black diamonds, then Sean, THE COAL INDUSTRY files for bankruptcy leaving no one held culpable for the toxic waste dump causing out mountains to be gutted then filling the rock and dirt into our streams drying them up, and the mine drainage which is polluting our watersheds and lakes. Plus the acceptable standards of health care in Appalachia is third world health scale. All thanks to Greed.

Appalachia should look more like Dubai than Darfur. We can't stand anymore of the Bush Legacy and prosperity !

10. I still think Cheney is right.

30 years from now, when Bush is probably dead, the US will think a lot better of him. Not because he dserves it, but because media spin and propaganda can do a lot. Remember how they brushed up Ronny Raygun? He's the most popular president! Now if they can do THAT, they surely can do the same for Bush.
