Mike Papantonio of Air America Radio's Ring of Fire appears on Fox News' Bulls and Bears, with host Brenda Buttner, to talk about the "tax holiday" being proposed by conservative lawmakers, and how it is little more than a giveaway to corporations. Also discussed in the segment is whether or not nationalizing the automotive industry can help solve their problems.

3. I can't stand all the shouting. Stop these shows where they have 3 or 4 people all yelling.

4. Gary Smith is a nitwit
"Big, stupid and inefficient" has been a perfect description of the Big Three for forty years. And all he wants to do is shrink government to where he can drawn it in a bathtub, transfer more taxpayers' money to billionaires and bust unions.

He never answered the question Mike P put to him: Could the government do worse than Rick Wagoner and friends? Could anybody?

Well, we should expect this for FoxNews. They will keep on yapping like voodoo economics was never discredited.

5. Was the guy with the shrillest voice blaming regulation for the economic problems we've been having?
Edited on Tue Dec-09-08 07:00 AM by tclambert
Wow. He said, "We haven't allowed capitalism to work the past 20 years, when you look at the amount of government regulation we've had." Darn it! If only those pesky regulators would have let the financial companies do anything they wanted, things would have . . . Oh, wait, that's what we did. And the results were disaster. They want to go back to the good old days before FDR ruined the country, you know, back to the golden days of Herbert Hoover.
