2. Obama should make a joke about it - show the world the contempt he
has for them. They are a laughing stock.

3. As Keith said...
not this shit again. I was listening to right wing radio (I do that every once in a while as a form of self hate), and they were seriously discussing it. I was like "WTF". I know the democratic party likes to do stupid things every now and again, and is very capable of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. But does the right really think that the democrats would run a candidate for president that couldn't meet the qualifications? Yes, the democratic party isn't perfect, but only the republicans would be stupid enough to pull that kind of bonehead move.

Oh, and K&R

11. Have to Agree
After watching Dubya and company rip apart the Constitution for oh so many years, it seems to be somewhat embarassing for Pres.elect Obama that his choise for SOS is curcumventing the very same Consittution.
It maybe only a 10 grand(?) difference, but hey, it is our Constitution and he's about to be sworn in with the promise to uphold it.
Bush battered the hell out of it, just don't think Obama should kich sand on it.

6. you're right - he should make a joke about it -
he should get a 'made in the usa' tag and say 'I thought we were workin' on keeping imports to a minimum around here for the time being'

LOL

8. He kind of did at the Al Smith dinner.
He said, "I was not born in a manger. I was born on the planet Krypton."

7. I agree that it's a non-issue, but Jonathan Turley is always worth hearing...
I predict, as Keith does, that they won't take the case, a total waste of their time. K&R.

10. The fact that the wingnuts have several different arguments...
... (all false) against Obama's citizenship status should tell you something about these guys. One faction says:

1) he was not born in Hawaii

the other says:

2) yes he was born in Hawaii, but he was a dual citizen because.... blah, blah, blah

or:

3) OK, the above two arguments aren't working... so let's say that Obama was born "legit", but a few years later in life gbecame a dual citizen... blah, blah, blah.

Yep... you'll get all three arguments, and more, seriously being discussed on the same wingnut websites, even though the later arguments have clearly been proposed when the earlier arguments are shown to be false, or impossible to prove.
