1. We know damned well that our government spies on

our own citizens. We know damned well that the Pentagon thinks they're above the law, and such petty concerns as constitutionally guaranteed rights. And we know that other agencies feel similarly.

Our country honestly thinks that Vegetarians, Vegans and Animal Rights advocates are the biggest threat facing this country (according to the DoJ under Rumsfeld). We know that they spy on Quakers.

I don't know how we succeed in doing anything about it. :(

2. we have been running/ducking from their thin, crooked, accusatory fingers like the...

poisonous dried vipers that they are; cheney/bush/rove and so they spit that we are unpatriotic, un-american as we stand in lines too long for vinte white mochas and sometimes the tag still sticks, and the ill-deed is done...

we know as well their characters...why are we ever so surprised when they continue to exhibit what they have been all along = usurpers of american freedom & liberty!!
