And it still hurts whenever I think about it. I guess because of that I have this stupid little idea that if we don't mention this we won't give the assholes any more ideas than they already have.I know it's stupid but hell, it doesn't take much for these fucktards to get inspired to do something. And you all know what I am talking about. I just can't bring myself to spell it out. But I agree with all of you.
Other than that, thanks for honoring JFK. Those were years when we were really proud.

5. That poor woman. How does one recover from something like that?

She received so much criticism and scrutiny after her life without JFK. Who could blame her for moving out of the country.


I'll always remember her statement, "I want them to see what they have done to Jack" when she kept her blood-stained jacket on during Johnson's swearing in on the plane.

It makes me wonder if she had an idea who "they" were.

I think of Caroline Kennedy and how sad it is that she is the only remaining member of the family. She is one remarkable and admirable person to live such a gracious life.

8. Thank you! I watched the link for the hour and a half on CBS after JFK was shot

That was so chilling. Bizarre "The president was shot we aren't sure if he is dead now back to 'as the world turns'".

I think they were caught a little off guard. That went on for about 10 seconds then back to the news.
